Volutomitridae: Microvoluta stadialis (Hedley, 1911) (‘staged volute-mitre’)

Synonym(s): stadialis Hedley, 1911.

Typical shell-length 7 mm. Lives in offshore waters. Native. Endemic to southern and southwestern Australia (TAS, SA and WA). In Tasmanian waters, this species is currently known only from a single record from the southeast coast.
