Acanthochitonidae – Acanthochitoninae: Acanthochitona coxi (Pilsbry, 1894) (‘Cox’s chiton’)

Synonym(s): coxi Pilsbry, 1894 lachrymosus May & Torr, 1912.

Typical shell-length 28 mm. Lives intertidally and subtidally under rocks and stones. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (NSW, TAS and VIC).
