Acanthochitonidae – Acanthochitoninae: Acanthochitona granostriatus (Pilsbry, 1894) (‘grainy-streaked chiton’)

Synonym(s): granostriata Pilsbry, 1894 tatei Torr & Ashby, 1898.

Typical shell-length 11 mm. Lives intertidally and subtidally under rocks and stones. Native. Endemic to southern and eastern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC and SA).
