Acanthochitonidae – Acanthochitoninae: Acanthochitona macrocystialis Ashby, 1924 (‘kelp chiton’)

Synonym(s): macrocystialis Ashby, 1924.

Typical shell-length not yet determined. Lives subtidally amongst seaweed. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (TAS only). The type specimens (in MV) are from Point Puer, Port Arthur.
