Arcidae – Arcinae: Acar botanica (Hedley, 1917) (‘Botany Bay ark-shell’)
Synonym(s): botanica Hedley, 1917.
Typical shell-length 10 mm. Lives subtidally and offshore. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (NSW and TAS). In Tasmanian waters, this species is currently known only from a single locality on the northeast coast.
