Triphoridae – Triphorinae: Aclophoropsis festiva (A. Adams, 1854) (‘festive sinistral-creeper’)

Typical shell-length 12 mm. Lives subtidally and offshore amongst sponges, specifically encrusting orange Mycale species, on which it feeds. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (TAS, VIC, SA and WA).
