Aplysiidae – Aplysiinae: Aplysia (Aplysia) juliana Quoy & Gaimard, 1832 (‘Julian sea-hare’)

Synonym(s): juliana Quoy & Gaimard, 1832 rangiana d’Orbigny, 1837 bipes Pease, 1860 sandvichensis Sowerby, 1869 capensis O’Donoghue, 1929 badistes Pilsbry, 1951.

Typical body-length 200 mm. Lives subtidally amongst seaweed and seagrass. Native. Occurs all around Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC, SA, WA and NT); also elsewhere in tropical and temperate seas of both hemispheres.
