Marginellidae – Marginellinae: Austroginella translucida (G. B. Sowerby II, 1846) (‘translucent margin-shell’)

Synonym(s): translucida Sowerby, 1846 volutiformis Reeve, 1865 attenuata Weinkauff, 1879 humerica Laseron, 1957.

Typical shell-length 4.1 mm. Lives subtidally and offshore in sand. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (NSW, TAS and VIC).
