
Arcidae – Bathyarcinae: Bathyarca perversidens Hedley, 1902 (‘odd-toothed ark-shell’)
Synonym(s): perversidens Hedley, 1902.
Typical shell-length 3.2 mm. Lives in offshore waters. Native. Endemic to southern and eastern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC and SA). In Tasmanian waters, this this species is currently known only from single records offshore from the southeast and northwest coasts.
