Littorinidae – Lacuninae: Bembicium vittatum Philippi, 1846 (‘banded conniwink’)
Synonym(s): vittatum Philippi, 1846.
Typical shell-length 15 mm. Lives intertidally. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (TAS, VIC and SA). In Tasmanian waters, this species is currently known only from a single record (unverified by SG) from the Furneaux Group; however, it may refer to a different species since Tasmania is well beyond the normal range for this species.
