Octopodidae – Bathypolypodinae: Benthoctopus unplaced (‘unplaced Benthoctopus octopus’)

Typical mantle-length 40 mm. Lives in offshore waters. Native. Occurs in southeastern Australia (NSW and TAS). In Tasmanian waters, this species occurs well offshore, with available records all from off the south coast.
