
Pleurobranchidae – Pleurobranchinae: Berthellina citrina (Rüppell & Leuckart, 1828) (‘lemony sea-slug’)
Synonym(s): citrina Rüppell & Leuckart, 1828 punctatus Quoy & Gaimard, 1832.
Typical body-length 35 mm. Lives subtidally amongst sponges, specifically Plakina species, on which it feeds. Native. Occurs in Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA); also widespread in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans.
