Calliostomatidae – Calliostomatinae: Calliostoma (Fautor) comptum (A. Adams, 1855) (‘adorned top-shell’)

Synonym(s): comptum Adams, 1854.

Typical shell-length 10 mm. Lives subtidally and offshore. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA). In Tasmanian waters, this species is currently known only from a couple of records from off the southeast coast.
