Nacellidae: Cellana tramoserica (Holten, 1802) (‘variegated limpet’)

Synonym(s): tramoserica Holten, 1802 variegata Blainville, 1825 jacksonensis Lesson, 1831.

Typical shell-length 50 mm. Lives intertidally attached to rocks, especially on exposed shores. Native. Endemic to southern and eastern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC and SA).
