Chromodorididae: Ceratosoma brevicaudatum Abraham, 1876 (‘short-tailed sea-slug’)

Synonym(s): brevicaudatum Abraham, 1876 adelaidae Basedow & Hedley, 1905.

Typical body-length 100 mm. Lives intertidally to offshore on sponges, specifically Euryspongia species, on which it feeds. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA).
