Synonym(s): verconis Torr & Ashby, 1898 sheardi Cotton & Weeding, 1939.
Typical shell-length not yet determined. Lives in offshore waters atttached to stones and the shells of living molluscs. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (TAS, VIC and SA).
