Synonym(s): favus Hedley, 1902 obliquus Hedley, 1902 nepeanensis Pritchard & Gatliff, 1904.

Typical shell-length 5 mm. Lives in offshore waters. Native. Occurs in southeastern and southwestern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA); also New Caledonia.
