Turritellidae – Turritellinae: Colpospira (Acutospira) atkinsoni (Tate & May, 1900) (‘Atkinson’s screw-shell’)

Synonym(s): atkinsoni Tate & May, 1900 godeffroyana Donald, 1900 tasmanica Tenison-Woods, 1877 (preoccupied).

Typical shell-length 20 mm. Lives subtidally and offshore on sand. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (NSW, TAS and VIC).
