Turritellidae – Turritellinae: Colpospira (Platycolpus) circumligata (Verco, 1910) (‘enwrapped screw-shell’)
Synonym(s): circumligata Verco, 1910.
Typical shell-length 17 mm. Lives in offshore waters in sand and mud. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (TAS, VIC and SA). In Tasmanian waters, this species is currently known from a few records of dredged specimens in western Bass Strait and off the SE coast.
