Turritellidae – Turritellinae: Colpospira (Acutospira) yarramundi Garrard, 1972 (‘yarramundi screw-shell’)

Synonym(s): yarramundi Garrard, 1972.

Typical shell-length 6.0 mm. Lives in offshore waters in sand and mud. Native. Endemic to eastern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS and VIC). There are as yet no confirmed records of this species in Tasmanian waters, although its presence here would not be surprising.
