Trochidae – Trochinae: Cratidentium balteatum (Philippi, 1849) (‘balteata kelp-shell’)
Synonym(s): baleatum Philippi, 1849 smaltata Fischer, 1879.
Typical shell-length 8.0 mm. Lives intertidally and subtidally amongst seaweed. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (TAS, VIC and SA). In Tasmanian waters, this species (which may be synonymous with C. tiberiana) is currently known only from a single record (unverified by SG) from near Flinders Island.
