Assimineidae – Assimineinae: Cryptassiminea kershawi Fukuda & Ponder, 2005 (‘Kershaw’s assiminea’)

Synonym(s): kershawi Fukuda & Ponder, 2005.

Typical shell-length 4.0 mm. Lives intertidally on mud, in sheltered environments. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (TAS only). In Tasmanian waters, this species is confined to the SE coast.
