Cystiscidae – Cystiscinae: Cystiscus cymbalum (Tate, 1878) (‘cymbal margin-shell’)

Synonym(s): cymbalum Tate, 1878 pisiformis Thiele, 1930.

Typical shell-length 6.0 mm. Shell very large for its genus. Lives subtidally under rocks and stones. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (TAS, VIC, SA and WA).
