Muricidae – Muricinae: Dermomurex (Dermomurex) goldsteini Tenison-Woods, 1876 (‘Goldstein’s murex’)

Synonym(s): goldsteini Tenison-Woods, 1876.

Typical shell-length 18 mm. Lives subtidally amongst rocks and seaweed. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (NSW, TAS, VIC and SA). In Tasmanian waters, this species is seldom recorded; most likely in the N.
