Fasciolariidae – Peristerniinae: Dolicholatirus thesaurus (Garrard, 1963) (‘treasure tulip-shell’)

Typical shell-length 40 mm. Lives in offshore waters on sand and mud. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (QLD, NSW and TAS). In Tasmanian waters, this is a rare species, known only from a single offshore record
