ypical shell-length 60 mm. Lives intertidally in sandin exposed environments – an active burrower. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA). In Tasmanian waters, this species is not commonly recorded, though widespread.
