Typical shell-length 1.1 mm. Lives intertidally and subtidally amongst rocks and seaweed. Native. Occurs in southeastern and southwestern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA); also New Zealand and elsewhere in the southwest Pacific Ocean.
