Eatoniellidae: Eatoniella (Eatoniella) melanochroma (Tate, 1899) (‘blackish eaton-shell’)

Synonym(s): melanochroma Tate, 1899 melanura Tenison-Woods, 1877.

Typical shell-length 1.7 mm. Lives intertidally amongst seaweed. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA). In Tasmanian waters, this is a widespread species; especially abundant in the S.
