Epitoniidae: Epitonium (Laeviscala) minorum (Iredale, 1936) (‘lesser wentletrap’)

Synonym(s): minorum Iredale, 1936 godfreyi Cotton, 1938.

Typical shell-length 20 mm. Lives intertidally to offshore amongst sea-anemones, in moderately sheltered environments. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA). In Tasmanian waters, this species is quite common in the N; rare or absent further S.
