Synonym(s): lodderae Hedley, 1903 vitrea Petterd, 1884.
Typical shell-length 7.0 mm. Lives subtidally and offshore as an internal parasite of echinoderms. Native. Endemic to southern and eastern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC and SA).
