Buccinidae – Buccininae: Fax grandior (Verco, 1908) (‘greater whelk’)

Synonym(s): grandior Verco, 1908.
Typical shell-length 30 mm. Lives in offshore waters. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (NSW, TAS and VIC). In Tasmanian waters, this species is currently known only from a single record offshore from the east coast.
