Flabellinidae: Flabellina rubrolineata (O’Donoghue, 1929) (‘red-lined sea-slug’)

Synonym(s): rubrolineata O’Donoghue, 1929.

Typical body-length 20 mm. Lives subtidally amongst hydroids, on which it feeds. Native. Occurs all around Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC, SA, WA and NT); also elsewhere in the Indo-Pacific and introduced in the Mediterranean. In Tasmania this is a rare species, known from isolated records along the north coast.
