Cystiscidae – Persiculinae: Gibberula agapeta (R. B. Watson, 1886) (‘platonic margin-shell’)

Synonym(s): agapeta Watson, 1886 punicea Laseron, 1948 quinqueplicata Laseron, 1948 royana Laseron, 1957.

Typical shell-length 8.1 mm. Lives subtidally and offshore in sand. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (NSW, TAS and VIC).
