Cystiscidae – Persiculinae: Gibberula diplostreptus (May, 1915) (‘two-plaited margin-shell’)

Synonym(s): diplostreptus May, 1916 biplicata Tate & May, 1900 eucla Cotton, 1944 baca Cotton, 1948.

Typical shell-length 4.7 mm. Lives subtidally and offshore in sand. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (TAS, VIC, SA and WA).
