Cystiscidae – Persiculinae: Gibberula pulchella (Kiener, 1834) (‘beautiful margin-shell’)

Synonym(s): pulchella Kiener, 1834 albomaculata May, 1911 fulgurata Hedley, 1911 concamerata May, 1918 newmanae Cotton, 1949.

Typical shell-length 9.8 mm. Lives subtidally and offshore in sand. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (TAS, VIC, SA and WA).
