Mangeliidae: Guraleus (Mitraguraleus) australis (Adams & Angas, 1864) (‘southern turrid’)

Synonym(s): australis A. Adams & Angas, 1864.

Typical shell-length 15 mm. Lives subtidally amongst rocks and seaweed. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (TAS, VIC, SA and WA). In Tasmanian waters, this species appears to be confined to King Island.
