Haminoeidae – Haminoeinae: Haminoea maugeansis Burn, 1966 (‘little bubble-shell’)

Synonym(s): maugeansis Burn, 1966 tenera A. Adams, 1850.

Typical shell-length 12 mm. Lives subtidally amongst seaweed in sheltered environments. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (TAS, VIC and SA). In Tasmanian waters, this is a widespread and common species, but seldom beached intact.
