Synonym(s): joshuana Gatliff & Gabriel, 1910.

Typical shell-length 3.0 mm. Lives subtidally and offshore as an internal parasite of echinoderms. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (TAS, VIC, SA and WA).
