Chilodontidae: Herpetopoma fenestratum (Tate, 1893) (‘windowed top-shell’)
Synonym(s): fenestratum Tate, 1893.
Typical shell-length 2.2 mm. Lives intertidally and subtidally amongst rocks and seaweed. Native. Endemic to southern and southwestern Australia (TAS, SA and WA). In Tasmanian waters, this species is currently known only from a single record from King Island.
