Scissurellidae – Scissurellinae: Incisura remota (Iredale, 1924) (‘remote slit-shell’)

Synonym(s): remota Iredale, 1924.

Typical shell-length 1.2 mm. Lives subtidally in sand. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA). In Tasmanian waters, this is a widespread but uncommon species.
