Ischnochitonidae – Ischnochitoninae: Ischnochiton (Ischnochiton) carinulatus (Reeve, 1847) (‘keeled chiton’)

Synonym(s): carinulatus Reeve, 1847 tateanus Bednall, 1897.
Typical shell-length 18 mm. Lives subtidally and offshore under rocks and stones. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (NSW, TAS, VIC and SA).
