Ischnochitonidae – Ischnochitoninae: Ischnochiton (Autochiton) torri Iredale & May, 1916 (‘Torr’s chiton’)

Synonym(s): torri Iredale & May, 1916.
Typical shell-length 42 mm. Lives intertidally and subtidally under rocks and stones, especially those embedded in sand in the vicinity of seagrass beds. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (TAS, VIC, SA and WA).
