Galeommatidae – Lasaeinae: Lasaea purpurata (Philippi, 1847) (‘purplish lasaea’)

Typical shell-length 3.7 mm. Typically lives among mussels. Lives intertidally and subtidally amongst byssal threads of mussels or in rock crevices or aggregations of Galeolaria tubeworms. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (TAS, VIC, SA and WA).
