Lepidopleuridae: Leptochiton (Leptochiton) liratus (H. Adams & Angas, 1864) (‘grooved chiton’)

Synonym(s): liratus H. Adams & Angas, 1864 profundus May, 1923

Typical shell-length 17 mm. Lives intertidally and subtidally on rocks. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (TAS, VIC, SA and WA).
