Cranchiidae – Cranchiinae: Liocranchia reinhardti (Steenstrup, 1856) (‘Reinhardt’s cranch-squid’)

Synonym(s): reinhardti Steenstrup, 1856.

Typical mantle-length 230 mm. Lives in offshore waters in midwater. Native. Occurs in eastern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS and VIC); also elsewhere in the Pacific Ocean.
