Calliostomatidae – Calliostomatinae: Maurea eltanini Dell, 1990 (‘Eltanin’s top-shell’)

Synonym(s): eltanini Dell, 1990.

Typical shell-length 30 mm. Lives in offshore waters. Native. Occurs in southeastern Australia (TAS and perhaps other states); also New Zealand and the Southern Ocean. In Tasmanian waters, this species is currently known from deep waters around southern sea-mounts.
