Synonym(s): cheilostoma Tenison-Woods, 1877.
Typical shell-length 3.5 mm. Lives subtidally and offshore amongst rocks and seaweed. Native. Endemic to southern and eastern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC and SA). In Tasmanian waters, this is a rare species, mostly likely to be found in the N.
