Marginellidae – Marginellinae: Mesoginella olivella (Reeve, 1865) (‘olive margin-shell’)

Synonym(s): olivella Reeve, 1865 infelix Jousseaume, 1857 simplex Reeve, 1865 procella May, 1916 binivitta Laseron, 1948.

Typical shell-length 6.5 mm. Lives in offshore waters in sand. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (NSW, TAS, VIC and SA).
