Synonym(s): fenestratum Hedley, 1901 hedleyi Dautzenberg, 1901 caroli Iredale, 1929.

Typical shell-length 40 mm. Lives in offshore waters on sand. Native. Endemic to eastern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS and VIC).
