Chromodorididae: Mexichromis macropus Rudman, 1983 (‘bigfoot sea-slug’)

Synonym(s): macropus Rudman, 1983.

Typical body-length 40 mm. Lives subtidally on sponges, on which it feeds. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA). In Tasmanian waters, this species is currently known only from the north coast.
